Kickstarting Your Business Using GenAI

  • Workforce Southwest Washington 805 Broadway St # 412 Vancouver, WA, 98660 United States (map)

This course is designed for professional firms seeking to understand the impact of Generative AI (GenAI) on their business operations. By delving into the capabilities and limitations of current Large Language Models (LLMs), participants will gain essential knowledge to shape business strategies, drive GenAI-related initiatives, and avoid ineffective approaches.

After this course, you will be well-positioned to build a pilot project using a 3rd party GenAI tool (such as an integration with a CRM) and/or maximize the use of LLMs to improve personal productivity. If your technical resource continues to the add-on course, they will have the foundation to launch a customized internal pilot project to integrate your proprietary data and LLMs.

We recommend, though it's not mandatory, that each participating company sends two participants: one who represents the business strategy and another with technical skills (potential add details). This program establishes a groundwork for an additional module, which is designed for those with basic to intermediate programming skills.

Key Learning Objectives:

  • Differentiate between Generative AI and traditional Machine Learning, and determine their appropriate applications.

  • Understand the components of LLM systems.

  • Learn how to integrate company business data with LLMs.

  • Establish guidelines for initiating internal projects utilizing LLMs.

  • Data privacy basics when using LLMs.

  • How to implement GenAI in various business areas of your business, including exploring 3rd party tools in Marketing, Sales, HR, and Strategy.

AI Usage Levels: Basic & Advanced Prompting; Maximizing LLM Benefits.
